I guide you on the day
We meet and walk it together. Anything that goes sideways on the day — closed shop, rain, tired kids — I re-route on the spot.

Is there a private anime tour in Akihabara I can book directly with a local guide?
Yes. Every tour I run is private: only your group and me, never mixed with strangers. For the standard 3–4 hour Akihabara walking tour, pick a date and pay by card in the Book direct section of the tour page, and the slot is confirmed straight away. For longer or unusual trips, send the form on this page.
What is the difference between the private tour and a custom itinerary?
The private tour is a 3–4 hour walk inside Akihabara, tailored to the series you name, bookable instantly. A custom itinerary is for trips that don't fit that shape: several days, one series you want to chase, or a written plan you follow on your own for part of the week. I write it for your dates and quote it individually.
How much does a custom anime tour cost?
Custom plans are quoted individually after I read your form, because length and group size change the price. There is no deposit to ask. Once you approve the plan, I send you a booking link: you confirm the date and pay by card, securely through Cal.com and Stripe. The price of the standard private tour is shown on the tour page when you choose your group size.
Can you plan for kids, families or dietary needs?
Yes. The example plans on this page include a family of three with a ten-minute survival-Japanese warm-up and a couple where one eats no meat, which decided every food stop. Tell me ages, mobility and diet in the form and the route is built around them.
Is the tour in English?
Yes, fully in English. I'm a professional Japanese teacher, so I translate shop signs, menus and conversations as we go. You don't need any Japanese.
Can I book the private tour on Viator, Airbnb or GetYourGuide instead?
Yes. The same private tour is listed on Airbnb, Viator and GetYourGuide if you prefer to pay through a platform you trust. Booking direct skips the booking-site fee, so more of what you pay reaches the person guiding you.
